OUR SHIPPING PRICE GUARANTEE
YOU PAY WHAT WE PAY!!! We do not make money on shipping an item to you. It is our store policy and promise to only charge you what we pay to ship an order to you. That is our guarantee and promise to ensure that you are only paying what is necessary in order to get your order to you safely, securely and as quickly as possible through the shipping option chosen by you.
SHIPPING POLICY
We try and estimate packaged weight and dimensions as best as possible; however at times there are discrepancies. That is why it is our store policy and promise to reimburse all shipping overpayments. You pay what we pay. If we made a mistake and undervalued shipping price, you do not get charged any additional fees
We have multiple shipping partners that we rely on to get you your order quickly, safely and as cost effective as possible. If you have a preferred shipping company or wish to provide your own shipping labels, please let us know and we will accommodate your request.
Tracking information is provided once the item has been shipped and will be messaged to you. If you do not wish to purchase shipment options with a tracking number, the method of shipment will be provided to you ie “small packet air” or “international ground”. Items shipped with no tracking number cannot be tracked and are solely your responsibility.
It is not our responsibility to track your package. We are not responsible for any shipments that are processed and sent as they are now in the care and control of your chosen delivery service. Any missing or delayed shipments are NOT our responsibility as they are in the care and control of the delivery service provider.
CUSTOMS/DUTIES & LANDED COSTS
We ship from Canada and any orders being shipped outside of Canada may be subject to your government’s fees, laws and/or regulations regarding the importation of goods into your country.
When we ship an item outside of Canada, we follow all regulations and guidelines with respect to customs and excise declarations. That includes but is not limited to the description of the contents, item origin, purchase price and any other information required by relevant regulatory or legal entities.
It is NOT our responsibility if your country’s government or customs and excise, postal department or any such entity charges you any landed costs including customs and excise fees, brokerage fees, duties, taxes or any other fees required on the delivery of your order.
It is best, before ordering any product from us, to check with your government, customs department and/or regulatory body and/or postal carrier to determine if there will be extra fees associated with the delivery of your order. HLJ at Home will NOT reimburse any extra fees associated with the above mentioned as these fees are beyond our control.
LOCAL PICKUP
If you are in the Toronto area, we offer local pickup for all online orders. Our pickup address is part of our "shipping options" located on our checkout page. Simply select "local pickup" and you will be prompted with instructions via email after purchase as to how to go about picking up your order. All local picks are located at 78 Saskatoon Drive, Toronto.
Local pickups are ready within 24 hours after completing your order. If you require your order sooner, please contact us at 647-801-7331 and we can make the proper arrangements.
